Primary Teaching Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistant’s available on a long-term basis. Full time roles will be 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Our schools are located across the Walsall area. We pride ourselves on being education specialists and work closely with our schools to ensure we find you the best possible roles in a school that suits you!

What your day will look like

-        Work under the direction of the class teacher
-        Supervise and provide support to pupils, including those with SEN, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
-        Assist with the implementation and development on individual education/behaviour plans and personal care programmes
-        Encourage the children to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
-        Set challenging expectations to encourage children to achieve their potential
-        Promote self-esteem and independence
-        Provide feedback to pupils on their progress
-        Maintain an orderly environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the displays of pupils’ work
-        Assist with planning of learning activities
-        Deliver and support lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum including Phonics sessions

What you need to apply:

-        Evidence of working with children through adequate references
-        Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
-        Experience with EYFS pupils and curriculum
-        Relevant qualifications for example: Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.
