This thriving and welcoming Specialist School are searching for a Learning Support Assistant candidates to work across different year groups and phases by support class teacher to ensure classes run smoothly and learning objectives are met!
Learning Support Assistant:
In this Learning Support Assistant role you would be working with pupils across the SEN school within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis throughout the day. The students range from having an ADHD / ASC diagnosis to PMLD.
This welcoming SEN school is the perfect surrounding to build up your classroom skills alongside heavily contributing to a fantastic staffing team as Learning Support Assistant, offering you fantastic career platform at the school or onto further studies / progression.
Learning Support Assistant – The Role:
- Support students across their school day
- Students from KS1 – KS4 ages
- ASC, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD needs
- Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and support staff
Learning Support Assistant – Qualifications required:
- Level 3 TA or degree level of education
- Education / childcare experience
- Previous SEN / ASC experience is desirable
- Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
