Contract: Full-Time

Behavioural Support Assistant:
The school are seeking an individual who can support and monitor student’s behaviour, and attitudes to themselves, others and learning will allow them to achieve good outcomes. This Behavioural Support Assistant role is here to support these students.
It would be ideal if the Behavioural Support Assistant has experience in safeguarding, mentoring, counselling or SEMH -or who has previously worked as a Behaviour Mentor/Support Assistant & can build trusting relationships.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Support students with behavioural needs
Students can range from having an ADHD, ASC, SEMH diagnosis
Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
Collaborate with experienced teachers and support staff

Behavioural Support Assistant– what makes you suited for this role:

Patience, resilience, and approachability
Calm, understanding and proactive attitude
Prior education experience within SEN /Safeguarding / Inclusion / Pastoral roles
Ability to communicate effectively with the SENDCO, class teacher, and parents
You can work independently and as part of a team
A full enhanced DBS, which can be processed through Smile Education.
Valid right to work in the UK
