If so, this can be the perfect opportunity for a talented individual like yourself! Smile Education is currently working with a prosperous secondary school in Salford, who are welcoming Humanity Teachers to join their team!
Position: Secondary Teacher
Location: M7
Competitive pay: £160-210 per day
Age Group: KS3/KS4
Secondary Teacher – Who would be a great fit for the role?
- Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS, Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or a relevant degree.
- Experience in teaching the British curriculum is desirable.
- Knowledge on either History, Geography, Religious Studies or English Literature
- 2 education based references
- Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis.
- A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
- A determined, hard-working attitude!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure high attainment.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with a talented staff team.
