Position: Secondary Teacher
Location: Manchester
Competitive pay: £150 - £210 per day
Age Group: Key Stage 3 and 4
Contract: Full-Time/Part Time
About the Role:- As a Secondary Teacher, you will work closely with students in Key Stage 3 and 4, helping them to engage with the curriculum and develop the skills they need to progress.
- You will support students both 1:1 and in small groups, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance necessary to succeed in their learning.
- Your role will be integral in creating an inclusive and supportive environment that fosters their academic and social development.
- Plan and conduct high quality lessons, ensuring the pupils are engaged.
- Provide advice to contribute to their social and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement tailored learning strategies.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported.
- Work with the other staff members to monitor and track students' progress.
What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role:- Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS or Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Have experience with supporting secondary pupils within a class setting.
- Have knowledge or subject specialist in either English, Maths, Science or humanities.
- Patient, caring, and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards learning.
- A proactive team player who is able to collaborate with teachers and other staff.
- A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
