Pastoral Support Mentor required in a Secondary School centrally located within Walsall from April 2025.

Are you experienced in supporting pupils with additional behavioural needs? Do you enjoy supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in groups?

The Headteacher and wider Leadership Team wishes to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Pastoral Mentor to provide 1:1 support across Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils who have additional behavioural needs and SEN needs. This role will include working in partnership with the SENCO and wider school team.

The successful candidate will work in supporting the pupils in engaging with their learning and social and emotional development. This will be a full-time role from February 2025 until the end of the academic year, with potential for it to be longer for the right person.

About the Role:
- Behaviour Mentor – Key Stage 3 & 4
- Full time role from April 2025
- Providing 1:1 / group support
- Following learning support plans
- Attend meetings with wider school staff and third party agencies
- Demonstrate excellent behaviour management techniques
