Smile Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school based in Tamworth, who are currently seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

Position: Year 3 Class Teacher
Location: Tamworth
Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Start Date: June 2025

About the Role: This is a full class teaching position with full responsibilities, including planning, preparation, delivery and assessment of the Year 3 curriculum. You will work as part of a dedicated and collaborative Key Stage 2 team, supported by senior leadership and teaching assistants.
You’ll be expected to:
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
  • Take full responsibility for planning and marking.
  • Assess progress and provide regular feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and high expectations of learners.
  • A commitment to supporting the school’s ethos and values.
