Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Lichfield for a full-time Year 3 class teacher!

Role and responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons to the whole class, approximately 26 students.
• Working closely with the year lead to ensure effective teaching and learning.
• Providing clear marking and feedback to learners and their families.
• Recording and monitoring children’s development and progress through reports and assessments.
• Ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all children.
• Leading and supporting a class teaching assistant.
• Attending staff meetings and training days to enhance personal development.
• Working to support children’s learning following the UK school curriculum.
• Working closely with colleagues to create a stimulating work place.

Successful candidates will:
• Hold a UK, relevant QTS or equivalent.
• Have effective experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically lower KS2.
• Be a positive role model to all children.
• Have strong knowledge of the school curriculum.
• Want to make an impact on children’s education and be committed to the school’s wider community.
• Show experience in managing behaviour within the classroom and individually.
