Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher ready to make a real impact in the classroom? Smile Education is proud to be working with a vibrant and supportive primary school in Manchester, currently seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply – we’d love to support your journey into teaching!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Year 1 pupils.
Collaborating with and guiding your Teaching Assistant.
Creating a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour.
Marking work and providing meaningful, constructive feedback.
Supporting individual students and small groups where needed.
Being an active part of the school’s inclusive and dynamic teaching community.

What We’re Looking For:

A UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS or PGCE.
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
Relevant experience working with children (references required).
Confidence teaching across class, group, and 1:1 settings.
A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
An enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
