The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our committed team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing our pupils for their SATs, ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching and targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the Year 6 curriculum
  • Provide structured and personalised support for SATs preparation
  • Track pupil progress, assess outcomes, and adapt teaching accordingly
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-expectations classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the academic and emotional wellbeing of all pupils
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – applications without QTS will not be considered
  • Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 national curriculum and SATs preparation
  • High expectations for all learners with a commitment to raising achievement
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
