Are you an enthusiastic and motivated teacher looking to inspire and challenge young minds in Key Stage 2? A local Walsall Primary School, part of an established MAT, is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our committed and dynamic team.

About the Role:As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to children in Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their full potential. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team within a thriving Multi-Academy Trust, committed to raising educational standards and ensuring every child receives a rich and rewarding learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a strong school community.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to share best practices and develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Ensure safeguarding policies are adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of pupil welfare.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • Is passionate about education and committed to raising standards of achievement.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Is innovative in their approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team, sharing ideas and resources to promote a collaborative learning environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
