Looking for a change to help your work-life balance? Are you experienced in delivering Primary curriculum in KS2? We have an excellent role within a Primary School based in Digbeth as a KS2 Teacher on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role starting after Easter.

They are a happy, friendly and caring school where every child is encouraged to be their best and do their best. They offer a rich curriculum, underpinned by education in values for life, and use every opportunity we can to celebrate all their children’s achievements.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Plan and deliver lessons based on the UK National Curriculum
  • Monitor and intervene when teaching to ensure sound learning and discipline and maintain a safe environment in which pupils feel confident.
  • Use a variety of teaching and learning styles to keep all pupils engaged.
  • Prep and support children’s development and learning ready for their SATs.
  • Supervise students whilst they complete their tasks independently.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you must:
  • Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Good knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Be able to commute to and from South Birmingham
  • Have experience within UK schools.
  • Hold enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
  • Be able to provide 2 references.
