Are you a dedicated primary school teacher with experience supporting students in KS2?

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Tamworth who are seeking a KS2 teacher to join their team. 

What will your role be?
  • Delivering engaging pre-planned lessons to the whole class, covering teachers PPA time. 
  • Supervising and managing classroom behaviour. 
  • Marking and assessing students work completed within your lessons. 
  • Being able to adapt to different year groups across KS2 and being flexible to cover teacher absences. 
  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment for all learners. 
  • Building positive relationships with students, families and colleagues. 
  • Ensuring a clear and effective handover is provided to the class teacher on their return. 

Successful applicants should:
  • Hold a valid UK QTS.
  • Have effective experience teaching within KS2 classes. 
  • Have a great knowledge of the KS2 school curriculum. 
  • Be a positive role model to all. 
  • Be adaptable and flexible to meet the schools requirements.
