Smile Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to provide ad hoc cover across KS3 and KS4 subjects in welcoming secondary/middle schools across Worcestershire.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning and encourage engagement.
- Work flexibly to cover staff absences on a short-term or daily supply basis.
- Uphold school policies on behaviour and safeguarding.
- Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting (e.g., Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or Tutor role).
- Strong classroom management skills and confidence working with KS3 and KS4 students.
- Adaptability to supervise across multiple subjects.
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting education.
- Flexible working to suit your availability.
